Buy an Inch - Save an Acre
Located in Sun Valley, this one-acre parcel was purchased in 1980 and is located on the top of Dollar Mountain on the Elkhorn side between ski lifts. The Foundation began its “Buy An Inch- Save An Acre” program, encouraging patrons to buy an inch of property and to put in the public’s mind the necessity for saving open space, even one inch at a time. The program has continued to be used as acknowledgements for special occasions and by out-of-towners who want to own at least a small piece of Sun Valley.
